What People's Say About Place

I called The Old Farmhouse yesterday to see if they were open on Sunday and I had the pleasure of talking with the owner, Sue. We had such an interesting conversation and I couldn't wait to make to make a reservation for Sunday for my husband and myself. We highly enjoyed the fruit cup, salad, broccoli cream soup, sweet scones, savory sandwiches, tea pots, (we each got our own tea pot) then we had a choice of dessert, we picked the homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. However; the best part of everything was talking with Sue, she was charming and very real.

I have been waiting to get into this tea house for a bit. It was so worth the wait! I was with my two daughters and my mother in law and from stepping inside we felt so welcome. There is so much to see inside. You will not be able to take it all in. If it was decorated for fall and it was absolutely gorgeous. The full tea was tremendous and the cost was the best. I have been to many many teahouses, now this is my favorite as of my first trip there. And unlike other tea, houses that I have been to, you will leave completely full. Don't forget to check out the shop next door with all the hand made sewing items, My daughter is crafty with sewing and knitting. And the lady at the shop was so kind to share experiences with her. So if you have never been make sure you make your reservations in advance, you will need to. Don't forget there is a shop in the tea house that sells homemade cookies, cookies and pickled beats and pickles. And homemade jellies and jams, At such a cost I will definitely be going over and shopping for unique gifts.

The Tea House is a perfect setting for a special occasion event. The staff was friendly, the room was lovely, and the tea was delicious. I wouldrecommend alerting them to food allergies or dietary needs prior to your event, as this was the only thing they didn't seem prepared for.

Small quaint tea room, decorated with the best items of Fall. Great gift shop. The food was delicious. A variety of meal types. The 4- course meal was delicious, from beginning to end.

I've been visiting this lovely Tea Room with friends for over 20 years. I just wish there were more stars to give. Myself with friends or when I would attend one of our reenactment the Tea Room is where we chose to dine. We loved to go dressed in Mid 1800's clothes because we were transported for the evening back in time. From the ambience to the servings it has always been a joy to gather there. If I am planning to dine with friends the Tea Room is always my go to choice.

Wonderful atmosphere. Everyone very kind and friendly. The food and tea was very good. And you can not beat the reasonable price for everything.

I LOVE this place! The food is great, as are the prices. It's such a cozy house, decorated perfectly. Sue, the owner, is a gas! Hannah is great as well. They make homemade jellies, pickles, chow chow, pickled beets and other things, which are really good, plus the prices are ridiculously great! She has gift baskets you can buy for good prices. It's just a fabulous experience. I've been several times.

A delightful place for a small gathering. The food was very good and the atmosphere was simply charming.
